Volkswagen Touareg Navigation Screen & Virtual Cockpit Screen Protection Film Kit (MK3 | MK3.5)

Developed and manufactured in house, bespoke, Pre-cut Paint Protection Film Kit to protect the easily scratched VW Touareg MK3 & MK3.5 Innovision Cockpit Screens (Navigation / Infotainment Screen & Instrument Cluster / Virtual Cockpit Screen).

Most owners will be aware that much like the earlier generation VW's fitted with a digital display, the anti-glare layer on the surface of the cluster / screen is extremely soft and susceptible to scratches / swirls & delamination, even when using the most delicate microfibres during cleaning. The anti-glare layer is known to delaminate and separate from the screen due to UV damage. The screen in standard form is also very reflective and susceptible to fingerprints which is often a distraction for the driver.

As a result, overtime, the cluster is difficult to read when in direct sunlight, defeating the purpose of the anti-glare layer. The high grade PPF used is UV resistant, preventing de-lamination and protecting the screen from any mechanical & chemical damage.

Once fitted, any pre existing scratches / swirls on the cluster are hidden. Both finishes significantly aid in reducing sun glare / reflections and eradicating fingerprints.

Both finishes will mask any underlying pre existing damage (swirls and scratches) to the same extent.

The Paint Protection Film used is a high-grade automotive self-healing film which boasts high clarity, UV protection, durability and non-yellowing inhibitors, to ensure a long-lasting, clean OEM+ appearance. 

Film Type

The Matte finish significantly reduces the effects of sun glare, and residual fingerprints. 

The Gloss Transparent finish is similar to the OEM finish on the instrument cluster, reduces sun glare and residual fingerprints.
