MINI Cooper Door Shut Paint Protection Film Kit (F56 | F57 | F66 | F67 | J01)

I bought a new 2025 Cooper S and found out about the door shut rubbing problem via a forum comment by IPPS. Although I wasn't sure I really needed it for the new model, I ordered it to try out. Once it arrived and I started to prep, I realized that there was already scuffing of the clear coat in that area of the door jam. Application was quick and easy to apply.

Just fitted to my F57 2023 to arrest any further abrasion. Car is Nanook White and I went for clear film. Totally invisible See attached pic). Bottle of spray was great. Was worried might not be enough but I only used half of the contents. Applicator was helpful in applying firm pressure and removing one to two bubbles. It really is excellent and I’m about to purchase the instrument cluster protection film having seen how good and easy it is to install. Biggest shout out though is to Sam and Alex for being so responsive to my queries. I’m always a bit sceptical of using chat and having to wait ages. Had a query in the midst of application and Alex's response on the chat was instant as well as to my follow up Q’s on their other products. Can’t recommend highly enough. When everything else seems knackered in the world IPPS have great products and customer service and deserve your business!

This kit was very easy to install and they offer great protection to the paint.

Product is great. Very straightforward installation, just followed the instructions and in less than 10 minutes protector was in place and looking great. Really flawless installation. I used a bit of heat to ease the process and clear out the remainings of the homemade spray solution and I really recommend using heat after positioning the protection because it blocks it in place dries the adhesive and avoids it moving about involuntarily. Totally satisfied, just hope it lasts as described .

Both my pillars had damage one worse than the other and now it's covered and protected and it was really easy to do

I have owned a F56 MINI and have used this, and now that I own a J01 I'll buy a replacement kit as I know that this will prevent the problem of the paint scratching off the B Pillar.

I have owned 2 F56 MINI's and have used this on both, Now on my 3rd I won't hesitate buying a replacement kit. Highly Recommended to prevent the problem of the paint rubbing off the B Pillar.

PPF files are sticking well and protecting. Installation wasn't hard. Recommended !

The protection film fits great. Installed 2 years ago and still no signs of wear.

I've ordered from IPPS in the past, and they never disappoint! The quality of the product and their customer service is excellent! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my PPF, very easy to install and looks the part.

Why wouldn't you install these? No problems with my 21 model F56, but I installed them anyway so the paint rubbing issue never happens.

Bought the MINI F56 PPF strips a few months ago. Even when really focusing beforehand to prevent the paint rubbing (washing regularly in the area, dabbing with water EVERY time I used the car!, waxing the area, using gummi pflege on the seals etc, I still noticed the dreaded paint rub outline appearing (on a barely 1 year old F56). Patches fine (although maybe could be TOUCH larger, as I found if I covered the upmost of the rub outline, there was a tiny bit exposed at the bottom, i.e a slightly longer piece?) and the instructions provided are good, but I supported them via watching some PPF youtube videos before hand. One extra point is that the owner's customer service is off the charts superb. Gets back on emails asap, and also was great when I explained that I'd messed up my first attempt, by dropping the PPF strip on the floor. I only needed to buy a single one, and he was great in adjusting for it. And again, replying straight away to emails, even on a Friday evening in the summer! 4 months on the patches are holding fine. Of course I keep up the maintenance via uber frequently ensuring the area is grit free and clean.

So thankful for this product, my husband has ocd when it comes to cars, he don't like scratches or marks even if the car is 2nd hand. After noticing the what seems common fault with the seals rubbing at the door frame, we tried to find something to help cover the marks up, we were recommended this site and soon put and order in. Item came quick with clear instructions, I fitted them myself with no problems, was quick to install, and looks great and not out of place. Thanks for quick and easy transaction

Bought these to battle the ever common door shut rub and rust you get on the f56 from the seal rubbing the paint away over time (sometimes very short/low miles) I opted for the black to cover some rub and they look oem+, if you wasn't aware of the issue, you would just assume they came from factory the same, especially if they're already sporting this kit! Very sticky and he only uses quality long lasting film. For the money its great to protect, and hide the eyesore should you go for the non clear option. Great customer service. 10/10.

I bought this PPF kit for my other halves F56 as the paint was wearing through on the door shut, and we were quoted hundreds for a paint repair! I opted for the textured black kit to cover the worn paint underneath and it looks great! A very OEM looking and cheap option besides a full repair, it looks like it will protect the paint for a long time and we are made up with it! Very easy and straight forward to install with the provided instructions, would recommend highly!
