Installation Kit

Developed and manufactured in-house, bespoke, Pre-cut Paint Protection Film Kit to protect the carbon fibre backed bucket / race seats of the M2, M3, M4 & M5.

Most owners will be aware that the carbon fibre trim on the back of the bucket seats is easily scratched / swirled / marked from passengers entering / leaving the vehicle, resulting in an unsightly appearance. This kit is designed to protect the gloss carbon fibre finish, preventing any damage.

Once fitted, any pre existing scratches / swirls on the trim are hidden.

Both finishes significantly aid in reducing finger print transfer and the collection of dust (the matte finish more so than the transparent gloss).

The Paint Protection Film (PPF) used is a high-grade self healing (damage removed with heat) automotive film which boasts high clarity, durability and non-yellowing inhibitors, to ensure a long-lasting, clean OEM+ appearance.

Would recommend

Very good fit, and very hard to see anything installed. Happy I can let my kids in the back without worrying about the carbon being damaged. Would recommend this x1000 to anyone with carbon buckets

Anyone with the carbon bucket seat...

Got this for my new G81 and installed it yesterday. Here's MHO... Pros: - Great quality PPF that's easy to work with even for beginners. Highly flexible, stretchable and moldable. - Adhesive is good enough to stick even when wet, but not too sticky so you can adjust over and over again without losing adhesiveness. Easy to squeegee air bubbles out. - Fantastic gloss and self healing capability. - Contains tool and fluid that smells great for those without Cons: - Cutout template covers main faces (exactly as shown in image) meaning there are gaps on the edges and waist holes not covered. Would be nice if two options are available: (1) Full coverage vs (2) main faces. - A bit pricey, given a full front bumper using Metamask sells for less on the net. It's a 4.8 star and would definitely buy from IPS again. Thanks for selling a great product!
